John Kennedy is NOT getting my vote!
I'm sure you've seen John Kennedy's new ad where he says that Mary Landrieu voted with Barack Obama 81% of the time and states that Barack Obama does not share Louisiana's values. At the end, he says, "I'm voting for John McCain. I'm John Kennedy, and I approved this ad."
Well, it's a bold statement for someone who is behind Mary in the polls. Barack is ahead of McCain, and Kennedy used to be a Democrat. I think it's a crappy, offensive ad. We have not voted yet - how does he know that Louisiana does not share Barack's values, and especially, here in New Orleans? Perhaps if he wanted to run such an offensive ad, he should run it in the rest of the state, and not here in the New Orleans area where 77% of people voted for John Kerry last time.
I'm tired of these mean-spirited ads.

so you mean to say that this particular ad is the reason he WONT get your vote? how politically enlightened. personally, i'm sick of all these politically apathetic people being 'sick of this attitude' or 'these negative ads'. stop whining, face the tough acusations in these ads and judge the candidates with all the information you have available, be it positive or negative.
Funny. I've never been accused of being politically apathetic before.
